RULES

  • Always double check the amount entered, we want $100 for a trial flight, not $10
  • If the transaction is declined do not accept any excuse or assume it is a connection fault, just decline the transaction and ask for other means of payment.
  • If you do not understand these instructions then ask for help.

The mobile eftpos terminal can only be used to transfer funds from customer's bank accounts into the Club's bank account using debit cards, NOT credit cards. The electronic funds transfer can be to pay for services such as aerotows, glider time and trial flights or for goods such as club fees, T shirts, food and drinks or to purchase cash when available.

The terminal normally uses the mobile phone network to connect to the bank's computers but if this is not possible it can be connected directly to a fixed phone line such as the phone socket in the radio room.  If all else fails we can take paper transactions using the zip-zap machine, see further instructions  describing this process or just accept cash or cheques.
